Mediquations for iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad FAQ
Where can I download Mediquations?
Mediquations is only available for download and purchase on Apple's App Store via iTunes or via the "App Store" application on your iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad.
How do I switch between US and SI units?
The iPhone & iPod Touch keep application settings in the main "Settings" application. To switch the units used by Mediquations, touch "Settings" from the Home screen. Touch "Mediquations" at the bottom of the menu, then touch "Units." For more help, see this visual tutorial.
How do I edit favorites?
Go to the "Favorites" tab, and touch "Edit" in top-left corner. Touch each item you'd like to add to your favorites (a checkmark will appear). Touch "Done" when you're finished. That's it!
I'd like to suggest an equation for a future version of Mediquations.
We'd love to hear your feedback. Send us a message via the Support page. We can't guarantee that your suggested equation will be added to Mediquations, but we'll make our best effort!
How do you pronounce Mediquations?
Think "Medi" + "equations" = "Mediquations". A common misspelling is "Medequations".
Tell me more about the brains behind Mediquations.
Mediquations was designed and developed by Zack Mahdavi as a 3rd year medical student from The University of Texas Medical Branch, who majored in Computer Science at The University of Texas at Austin (hook 'em!). Zack is now a resident in neurosurgery at Virginia Commonwealth University, Medical College of Virginia in Richmond. I purchased my iPhone back in June 2007, and I loved it so much that I knew I had to develop for it. I hope you find this application as useful as I do!
